Residential Drop-Off Hours

Tuesday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Thursday noon - 6:00 pm

Drivers must remain in vehicles.
Hazardous materials must be in back end of vehicles (trunk, lift gate or truck bed).
Material will not be removed from front or back seats

If you have a large quantity of material (a truck bed full, or trailer full) please call to make an appointment.

*Notice: Staff is not able to "pour off" liquid hazardous waste and return the containers during collections. If you are bringing gasoline or other fluids to the Hazardous Material Recovery facility this material must be brought in a container that can be left at the facility.

Acceptable materials include: chemicals, pesticides, paints, cleaners, electronics, etc. (fees may apply).

Look for the smaller blue building labeled "Hazardous Material Recovery Facility". Drive up under the canopy. Our Associates will guide you.

Acceptable materials include: curbside recyclables. (What you would put in your curbside bin for recycling)

At the large blue building facing South Broadway labeled "Brown County Resource Recovery Facility," look for the yellow framed window, back up to it, drop recycling onto tipping floor.
