Shingles are accepted at the Brown County Waste Transfer Station and the Brown County South Landfill. Only clean shingles can be recycled at a rate of $40 per ton (Waste Transfer Station) or $35 per ton (South Landfill).  Clean Shingles include asphalt shingles with nails and tar paper.

Shingles that do not meet these criteria will be accepted at the Gate Rate at the discretion of the scale operator.
